The Four-Way Test of the things we think, say or do:
Is it the TRUTH?
Is it FAIR to all concerned?
Will it build GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
Will it be BENEFICIAL to all concerned?

ROTARY TESTIMONIAL
Abraham I. Gordon
[law — attorney]. Director, Rotary International, 1998-2000. Member of the Rotary Club of Bridgeport, Connecticut, U.S.A.
I am a Rotarian because:
I believe in the worth and dignity of every human being. Yet I see around me, whether in my home community or elsewhere in the world, people who are hungry, illiterate, frightened, ill, and unable to care for themselves.
I believe in the admonition that “He who saves a single life saves the world entire.” Yet I see more hands reaching out for help than I can touch alone. Hands, which if touched by the gift of caring and help, can add to betterment of our society. I believe that as we reach out to help a person in need, we help ourselves the most. We enjoy great personal satisfaction in seeing a helpless person become a productive member of society.
I believe that a person who is literate, well-fed, healthy, and earning sufficient to care for his family is less likely to seek aggression, whether war or crime, as a solution to his problems. I believe that each person who can, should reach out to help another. But I also believe that a great deal more good can be achieved by many people working in concert with each other.
I believe that Rotary International stands in a unique position in our society as an organization which has the capacity, intention, and ability to reach those in need, working toward world understanding and peace. I believe that Rotarians are individuals who care about each other and all people of the world. I believe Rotarians have the compassion, caring, understanding, willingness, and ability to make a difference in our world.
For these reasons, I believe Rotary International and Rotarians do make a difference in our world society. For these reasons, I am a Rotarian.

Rotary District 6710 2010 District
Conference May 21-23, 2010
Santa Claus, Indiana
The purpose of the district conference is to advance the Object of Rotary through fellowship, inspirational addresses, and the discussion of matters of importance to Rotary clubs and Rotary International. Each year our annual conference showcases Rotary programs and successful
district and club activities. For Rotarians, the conference is an inspirational celebration and an opportunity to enjoy fellowship
On May 21-23, 2010, we'll be hosting our District Annual Conference at Santa Claus, Indiana - the home of the Holiday World Amusement Park. We are excited about the format change that
creates a family centered event involving spouses and children in most aspects of the conference itself rounded off with a day at Holiday World. We are inviting our Rotarian's family
members to play an active role while at the conference.
